Henry tries hard to blend in. Most of his life, he has been acting the human chameleon, encouraged by a fanatic psychologist, which has turned him into a pale reflection of other people's expectations.
One day, after brutally failing and crashing straight into reality, Henry's best friend Jon talks him into opening a restaurant with him in Spain.
Goodbye rain and depression, hello tapas and sangria! Before leaving, though, Henry needs to fix a few things: stuff such as kidnapping his peculiar mother from a mental institution, finding tattooed love on a stage in a dark strip club, smuggling anabolic steroids, and uncovering the gobsmacking truth about his best friend.
But nothing turns out as expected, and Henry is caught up in a maelstrom of bizarre events. What is real - what is fantasy?
In order to get control over his life Henry needs to stops being a pale copy and transform himself to the sparkling original he really is. A journey, which requires both a passport and trip into his own twisted mind.
